Barangay Mirasol

Barangay Mirasol is a small barangay in the municipality of Alamada, located in the province of Cotabato, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mirasol had a population of 1,547. This made it the 17th largest of 17 barangays in Alamada by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mirasol accounted for approximately 2.25% of the total population of Alamada, which stood at 68,659 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mirasol moving from 1,353 residents to 1,547 residents, an intercensal change of +14.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Mirasol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
