Barangay San Juan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Juan is one of the administrative divisions of Alcala in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Juan had a population of 2,252. This made it the 8th largest of 21 barangays in Alcala by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Juan accounted for approximately 4.60% of the total population of Alcala, which stood at 48,908 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Juan moving from 2,004 residents to 2,252 residents, an intercensal change of +12.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Juan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
