Barangay San Emiliano

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Emiliano is one of the administrative divisions of Aliaga in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Emiliano had a population of 1,520. This made it the 20th largest of 26 barangays in Aliaga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Emiliano accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Aliaga, which stood at 70,363 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Emiliano changed from 1,221 to 1,520, a shift of +24.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Aliaga. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Emiliano as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Aliaga is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Emiliano, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
