Barangay Mohon

Barangay Mohon forms part of Aloran, a municipality in Misamis Occidental, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mohon had a population of 948. This made it the 11th largest of 38 barangays in Aloran by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mohon accounted for approximately 3.39% of the total population of Aloran, which stood at 27,934 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mohon moving from 1,023 residents to 948 residents, an intercensal change of -7.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Mohon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
