Barangay Tondol

Barangay Tondol is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Anda, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tondol had a population of 3,190. This made it the 4th largest of 18 barangays in Anda by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tondol accounted for approximately 7.68% of the total population of Anda, which stood at 41,548 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tondol moving from 2,935 residents to 3,190 residents, an intercensal change of +8.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tondol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Anda is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tondol, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
