Barangay Nato

Barangay Nato is a small barangay in the municipality of Anini-Y, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nato had a population of 1,057. This made it the 11th largest of 23 barangays in Anini-Y by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nato accounted for approximately 4.80% of the total population of Anini-Y, which stood at 22,018 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nato moving from 999 residents to 1,057 residents, an intercensal change of +5.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Nato is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
