Barangay Tagaytay

Barangay Tagaytay is a very small barangay in the municipality of Anini-Y, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tagaytay had a population of 352. This made it the 22nd largest of 23 barangays in Anini-Y by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tagaytay accounted for approximately 1.60% of the total population of Anini-Y, which stood at 22,018 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tagaytay moving from 264 residents to 352 residents, an intercensal change of +33.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tagaytay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Anini-Y is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tagaytay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
