Barangay Langub

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Langub is one of the administrative divisions of Argao in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Langub had a population of 768. This made it the 38th largest of 45 barangays in Argao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Langub accounted for approximately 0.98% of the total population of Argao, which stood at 78,187 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Langub moving from 745 residents to 768 residents, an intercensal change of +3.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Langub is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Argao is a municipality comprising 45 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Langub, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
