Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Atimonan, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 2,800. This made it the 6th largest of 42 barangays in Atimonan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 4.36% of the total population of Atimonan, which stood at 64,260 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Isidro changed from 2,567 to 2,800, a shift of +9.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Atimonan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Atimonan is a municipality comprising 42 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
