Barangay Ballesteros

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ballesteros is one of the administrative divisions of Aurora in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ballesteros had a population of 1,339. This made it the 9th largest of 33 barangays in Aurora by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ballesteros accounted for approximately 3.66% of the total population of Aurora, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Ballesteros changed from 1,298 to 1,339, a shift of +3.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Aurora. Barangay Ballesteros is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Aurora is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ballesteros, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
