Barangay Poblacion Bacolod

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Poblacion Bacolod is one of the administrative divisions of Bacolod in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion Bacolod had a population of 6,507. This made it the 1st largest of 16 barangays in Bacolod by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Bacolod accounted for approximately 26.70% of the total population of Bacolod, which stood at 24,367 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,647 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,507 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion Bacolod as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Bacolod is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion Bacolod, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
