Barangay Ginablan

Barangay Ginablan is a small barangay in the municipality of Badian, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ginablan had a population of 660. This made it the 25th largest of 29 barangays in Badian by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ginablan accounted for approximately 1.51% of the total population of Badian, which stood at 43,735 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ginablan moving from 608 residents to 660 residents, an intercensal change of +8.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Ginablan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
