Barangay Lambug

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lambug is one of the administrative divisions of Badian in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lambug had a population of 1,707. This made it the 8th largest of 29 barangays in Badian by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lambug accounted for approximately 3.90% of the total population of Badian, which stood at 43,735 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lambug moving from 1,469 residents to 1,707 residents, an intercensal change of +16.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Lambug is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
