Barangay San Antonio

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Antonio is one of the administrative divisions of Bagac in Bataan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Antonio had a population of 1,511. This made it the 10th largest of 14 barangays in Bagac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Antonio accounted for approximately 4.82% of the total population of Bagac, which stood at 31,365 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Antonio changed from 1,445 to 1,511, a shift of +4.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bagac. Barangay San Antonio is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bagac is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Antonio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bataan, which contains 237 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Antonio ranks 169th by 2020 population.
