Barangay Tio-angan

Barangay Tio-angan is a small barangay in the municipality of Bagulin, located in the province of La Union, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tio-angan had a population of 995. This made it the 9th largest of 10 barangays in Bagulin by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tio-angan accounted for approximately 6.90% of the total population of Bagulin, which stood at 14,428 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tio-angan moving from 933 residents to 995 residents, an intercensal change of +6.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
