Barangay Matun-og

Situated in Balamban, Cebu, Barangay Matun-og is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Matun-og had a population of 915. This made it the 27th largest of 28 barangays in Balamban by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Matun-og accounted for approximately 0.96% of the total population of Balamban, which stood at 95,136 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Matun-og changed from 1,002 to 915, a shift of -8.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Balamban. Barangay Matun-og is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
