Barangay Laganac

Barangay Laganac is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Balatan, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Laganac had a population of 2,340. This made it the 5th largest of 17 barangays in Balatan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Laganac accounted for approximately 7.63% of the total population of Balatan, which stood at 30,669 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Laganac moving from 2,414 residents to 2,340 residents, an intercensal change of -3.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
