Barangay Pacalundo

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Pacalundo is one of the administrative divisions of Baloi in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pacalundo had a population of 5,795. This made it the 4th largest of 21 barangays in Baloi by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pacalundo accounted for approximately 8.46% of the total population of Baloi, which stood at 68,465 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pacalundo moving from 5,608 residents to 5,795 residents, an intercensal change of +3.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Pacalundo is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Baloi is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pacalundo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Lanao Del Norte, which contains 506 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pacalundo ranks 11th by 2020 population. Like every Philippine barangay, Barangay Pacalundo is led by an elected Punong Barangay (barangay captain) supported by seven Sangguniang Barangay members (kagawads), an SK Chairperson, a Barangay Secretary, and a Barangay Treasurer. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
