Barangay Rajal

Situated in Balungao, Pangasinan, Barangay Rajal is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rajal had a population of 1,953. This made it the 4th largest of 20 barangays in Balungao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rajal accounted for approximately 6.51% of the total population of Balungao, which stood at 30,004 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Rajal changed from 2,009 to 1,953, a shift of -2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Balungao. Barangay Rajal is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
