Barangay Managopaya

Barangay Managopaya is a small barangay in the municipality of Banate, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Managopaya had a population of 1,338. This made it the 11th largest of 18 barangays in Banate by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Managopaya accounted for approximately 4.01% of the total population of Banate, which stood at 33,376 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Managopaya moving from 1,280 residents to 1,338 residents, an intercensal change of +4.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
