Barangay Casilagan Norte

Barangay Casilagan Norte is a small barangay in the municipality of Banayoyo, located in the province of Ilocos Sur, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Casilagan Norte had a population of 586. This made it the 6th largest of 14 barangays in Banayoyo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Casilagan Norte accounted for approximately 7.39% of the total population of Banayoyo, which stood at 7,931 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Casilagan Norte changed from 551 to 586, a shift of +6.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Banayoyo.
