Barangay Paratong Norte

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Paratong Norte is one of the administrative divisions of Bangar in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Paratong Norte had a population of 1,674. This made it the 3rd largest of 33 barangays in Bangar by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paratong Norte accounted for approximately 4.40% of the total population of Bangar, which stood at 38,041 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Paratong Norte moving from 1,591 residents to 1,674 residents, an intercensal change of +5.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Paratong Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
