Barangay San Cristobal

Barangay San Cristobal forms part of Bangar, a municipality in La Union, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 28th largest of 33 barangays in Bangar by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Cristobal changed from 808 to 875, a shift of +8.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bangar. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Cristobal as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
