Barangay Sinapangan Norte

Situated in Bangar, La Union, Barangay Sinapangan Norte is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sinapangan Norte had a population of 1,104. This made it the 19th largest of 33 barangays in Bangar by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sinapangan Norte accounted for approximately 2.90% of the total population of Bangar, which stood at 38,041 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sinapangan Norte changed from 1,032 to 1,104, a shift of +7.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bangar. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sinapangan Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
