Barangay Eman

Barangay Eman forms part of Bansalan, a municipality in Davao Del Sur, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Eman had a population of 1,754. This made it the 13th largest of 25 barangays in Bansalan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Eman changed from 1,757 to 1,754, a shift of -0.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Bansalan. Barangay Eman is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bansalan is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Eman, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
