Barangay Guintigui-an

Barangay Guintigui-an is a very small barangay in the municipality of Basey, located in the province of Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guintigui-an had a population of 453. This made it the 44th largest of 51 barangays in Basey by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guintigui-an accounted for approximately 0.80% of the total population of Basey, which stood at 56,685 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Guintigui-an moving from 428 residents to 453 residents, an intercensal change of +5.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
