Barangay Villa Aurora

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Villa Aurora is one of the administrative divisions of Basey in Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Villa Aurora had a population of 1,189. This made it the 23rd largest of 51 barangays in Basey by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villa Aurora accounted for approximately 2.10% of the total population of Basey, which stood at 56,685 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Villa Aurora changed from 1,124 to 1,189, a shift of +5.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Basey. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Villa Aurora as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Basey is a municipality comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Villa Aurora, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
