Barangay Santa Monica

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Santa Monica is one of the administrative divisions of Basilisa in Dinagat Islands, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Monica had a population of 695. This made it the 22nd largest of 27 barangays in Basilisa by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Monica accounted for approximately 1.88% of the total population of Basilisa, which stood at 36,911 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Monica changed from 631 to 695, a shift of +10.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Basilisa.
