Barangay Santo Niño

Barangay Santo Niño is a small barangay in the municipality of Basilisa, located in the province of Dinagat Islands, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Niño had a population of 1,542. This made it the 8th largest of 27 barangays in Basilisa by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 4.18% of the total population of Basilisa, which stood at 36,911 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santo Niño moving from 1,417 residents to 1,542 residents, an intercensal change of +8.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
