Barangay Mambuquiao

Barangay Mambuquiao is a small barangay in the municipality of Batan, located in the province of Aklan, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mambuquiao had a population of 1,650. This made it the 9th largest of 20 barangays in Batan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mambuquiao accounted for approximately 4.93% of the total population of Batan, which stood at 33,484 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mambuquiao moving from 1,442 residents to 1,650 residents, an intercensal change of +14.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
