Situated in Bauan, Batangas, Barangay Rizal is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rizal had a population of 806. This made it the 31st largest of 40 barangays in Bauan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal accounted for approximately 0.89% of the total population of Bauan, which stood at 90,819 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal moving from 745 residents to 806 residents, an intercensal change of +8.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Rizal as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
