Barangay Leseb

Situated in Bauko, Mountain Province, Barangay Leseb is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Leseb had a population of 1,182. This made it the 12th largest of 22 barangays in Bauko by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Leseb accounted for approximately 3.69% of the total population of Bauko, which stood at 32,021 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Leseb changed from 1,257 to 1,182, a shift of -6.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Bauko. Barangay Leseb is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bauko is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Leseb, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
