Barangay Andabuen

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Andabuen is one of the administrative divisions of Benito Soliven in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Andabuen had a population of 2,460. This made it the 2nd largest of 29 barangays in Benito Soliven by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Andabuen accounted for approximately 8.27% of the total population of Benito Soliven, which stood at 29,752 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Andabuen changed from 2,730 to 2,460, a shift of -9.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Benito Soliven. Barangay Andabuen is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Benito Soliven is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Andabuen, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Isabela, which contains 1,055 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Andabuen ranks 170th by 2020 population. Isabela is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.

The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
