Barangay Burabod

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Burabod is one of the administrative divisions of Biliran in Biliran, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Burabod had a population of 2,222. This made it the 3rd largest of 11 barangays in Biliran by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Burabod accounted for approximately 12.58% of the total population of Biliran, which stood at 17,662 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Burabod changed from 1,963 to 2,222, a shift of +13.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Biliran. Barangay Burabod is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
