Barangay Santol

Situated in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, Barangay Santol is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santol had a population of 7,117. This made it the 4th largest of 16 barangays in Binalbagan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santol accounted for approximately 9.97% of the total population of Binalbagan, which stood at 71,407 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,492 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,117 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santol is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
