Barangay Biñang 1st

Situated in Bocaue, Bulacan, Barangay Biñang 1st is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Biñang 1st had a population of 3,406. This made it the 12th largest of 19 barangays in Bocaue by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Biñang 1st accounted for approximately 2.41% of the total population of Bocaue, which stood at 141,412 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,496 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,406 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Biñang 1st as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bocaue is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Biñang 1st, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Biñang 1st ranks 349th by 2020 population.
