Barangay Bunlo

Situated in Bocaue, Bulacan, Barangay Bunlo is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bunlo had a population of 4,018. This made it the 10th largest of 19 barangays in Bocaue by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bunlo accounted for approximately 2.84% of the total population of Bocaue, which stood at 141,412 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,686 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,018 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -14.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Bunlo is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Bocaue is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bunlo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Bunlo ranks 301st by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
