Barangay Kilong-Olao

Barangay Kilong-Olao is a very small barangay in the municipality of Boliney, located in the province of Abra, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kilong-Olao had a population of 277. This made it the 8th largest of 8 barangays in Boliney by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kilong-Olao accounted for approximately 6.09% of the total population of Boliney, which stood at 4,551 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 226 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 277 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +22.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Kilong-Olao is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
