Barangay Polong

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Polong is one of the administrative divisions of Bugallon in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Polong had a population of 3,364. This made it the 6th largest of 24 barangays in Bugallon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Polong accounted for approximately 4.49% of the total population of Bugallon, which stood at 74,962 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Polong changed from 2,702 to 3,364, a shift of +24.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bugallon. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Polong as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
