Barangay Talisay

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Talisay is one of the administrative divisions of Bugasong in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talisay had a population of 927. This made it the 19th largest of 27 barangays in Bugasong by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talisay accounted for approximately 2.67% of the total population of Bugasong, which stood at 34,676 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Talisay moving from 982 residents to 927 residents, an intercensal change of -5.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Talisay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
