Situated in Bugasong, Antique, Barangay Tono-an is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

This made it the 20th largest of 27 barangays in Bugasong by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tono-an accounted for approximately 2.36% of the total population of Bugasong, which stood at 34,676 in the same census year.
