Barangay Alucao Weste

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Alucao Weste is one of the administrative divisions of Buguey in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Alucao Weste had a population of 944. This made it the 13th largest of 30 barangays in Buguey by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Alucao Weste accounted for approximately 2.94% of the total population of Buguey, which stood at 32,148 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Alucao Weste changed from 934 to 944, a shift of +1.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Buguey.
