Barangay San Jose Baybayon

Barangay San Jose Baybayon is a small barangay in the municipality of Buhi, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Jose Baybayon had a population of 1,279. This made it the 27th largest of 38 barangays in Buhi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose Baybayon accounted for approximately 1.57% of the total population of Buhi, which stood at 81,306 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Jose Baybayon changed from 1,311 to 1,279, a shift of -2.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Buhi. Barangay San Jose Baybayon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
