Barangay San Jose Salay

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Jose Salay is one of the administrative divisions of Buhi in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Jose Salay had a population of 1,970. This made it the 18th largest of 38 barangays in Buhi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose Salay accounted for approximately 2.42% of the total population of Buhi, which stood at 81,306 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Jose Salay changed from 1,669 to 1,970, a shift of +18.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Buhi.
