Barangay Santa Isabel

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Santa Isabel is one of the administrative divisions of Buhi in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Isabel had a population of 1,169. This made it the 29th largest of 38 barangays in Buhi by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Isabel accounted for approximately 1.44% of the total population of Buhi, which stood at 81,306 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,345 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,169 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -13.1%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Isabel as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Buhi is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Isabel, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santa Isabel ranks 648th by 2020 population.
