Barangay Santa Justina

Barangay Santa Justina forms part of Buhi, a municipality in Camarines Sur, and is classified as a large barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Justina had a population of 6,159. This made it the 1st largest of 38 barangays in Buhi by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Justina accounted for approximately 7.58% of the total population of Buhi, which stood at 81,306 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,014 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,159 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Justina as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Buhi is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Justina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santa Justina ranks 32nd by 2020 population.
