Barangay Campaasan (Pob.)

Barangay Campaasan (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Bulalacao, located in the province of Oriental Mindoro, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Campaasan (Pob.) had a population of 3,228. This made it the 7th largest of 15 barangays in Bulalacao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Campaasan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.28% of the total population of Bulalacao, which stood at 44,366 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Campaasan (Pob.) changed from 3,149 to 3,228, a shift of +2.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bulalacao. Barangay Campaasan (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Bulalacao is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Campaasan (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
