Barangay Anibawan

Barangay Anibawan is a small barangay in the municipality of Burdeos, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Anibawan had a population of 1,461. This made it the 6th largest of 13 barangays in Burdeos by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Anibawan accounted for approximately 5.93% of the total population of Burdeos, which stood at 24,644 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Anibawan changed from 1,449 to 1,461, a shift of +0.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Burdeos. Barangay Anibawan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Burdeos is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Anibawan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
