Barangay Bacnor East

Barangay Bacnor East is a small barangay in the municipality of Burgos, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bacnor East had a population of 962. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Burgos by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bacnor East accounted for approximately 3.69% of the total population of Burgos, which stood at 26,040 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 952 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 962 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.1%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bacnor East as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Burgos is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bacnor East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
