Barangay Dingasan

Situated in Cabarroguis, Quirino, Barangay Dingasan is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dingasan had a population of 1,573. This made it the 9th largest of 17 barangays in Cabarroguis by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dingasan accounted for approximately 4.69% of the total population of Cabarroguis, which stood at 33,533 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dingasan moving from 1,283 residents to 1,573 residents, an intercensal change of +22.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Dingasan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
